Hallmarking Notice

In accordance with the Hallmarking Act 1973, all sterling silver pieces sold by PALLAS 1772 in excess of 7.78 grams carry a UK Assay Office hallmark.

The following information is provided to customers as required by the Dealer's Notice (Notice B):

The approximate millesimal fineness of all hallmarked precious metals offered for sale by PALLAS 1772:

Sterling silver: 925 parts per 1,000 (also marked as "925")

Each hallmarked piece bears the following marks:

— The sponsor's mark identifying the manufacturer
— The standard mark indicating the precious metal and its fineness (e.g. the lion passant for sterling silver)
— The Assay Office mark identifying the office that tested and marked the piece
— The date letter indicating the year of marking
